Also: clearer messages when your location can't be found. 2.0.6 Oct 6 Birthday reminders now come back every year, for you and for the friends you add.

Everyone gets the full nearby list, 8-stop birthday runs and GIF cards. No sharing needed.

Also: clearer wording, and fixes for saving and deleting birthdays. 2.0.5 Oct 4 Thousands more birthday freebies show up near you, from a much bigger list of stores.

Birthday reminders now build up to the day instead of a single ping, and we can remind you about your friends' birthdays too.

Closed or wrong location? Tell us, and it stops showing for everyone.

Also: clearer messages when we can't check your area, and a nudge to make someone a birthday card. 2.0.4 Sep 18 Birthday cards you can make and send from the app.

Also fixed: a crash when saving your profile, and birthday reminders now arrive reliably on iPhone. 2.0.3 Sep 14 Your friends' birthdays, too.

Right after you set your own birthday we'll offer to pull in the birthdays already saved in your contacts, so you get a reminder - and their freebies - on the day.

Also fixed: tapping a birthday reminder now opens the right screen instead of wherever you left the app. 2.0.2 Sep 5 Birthday reminders now actually work.

Set your birthday and we'll ask once whether to remind you - say yes and the reminder is scheduled right there, no digging through Settings. Your own birthday gets its own reminder now, not just the friends you've saved.
